The Association of Australian Musicians is a non-profit association of Australian musicians working with government and music industry organisations to reform the Australian music industry.

A peak industry trade group representing Australian Musicians and Affiliated Professionals. Sharing news and discussing ways to reform the music industry to benefit all Australian musicians, focusing on the 90% who are independent of the majors.

OBJECTIVES
• Act as Australia's peak industry trade group representing all Australian musicians
• Add value to the Australian recording and live music industries
• Create more sustainable employment conditions for Australian musicians
• Increase income for Australian musicians
• Promote the Australian music export market
• Increase music tourism to Australia
• Raise funds to implement reforms
• Develop and reflect a sense of Australian identity, character and cultural diversity
as outlined in the Federal Government Broadcast Act
